SUNRISE, FL - Founded in Miami in 1995, Shamrock Corporate Housing has blazed a successful trail in the competitive corporate housing industry by establishing company-branded, full-service properties that cater to the unique needs of its guests. The company owns and maintains three properties throughout South Florida (in Kendall, Coral Gables, and Sunrise) which combine the flexibility and service of a luxury hotel with the long-term needs delivered by apartment communities. Shamrock's commitment to providing the very best corporate housing solutions in South Florida has earned the company a nomination for the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) 2006 "Provider of the Year" Award.

"Shamrock offers the perfect solution to business travelers who want the services of a hotel, but do not have the budget to maintain a long-term stay with one. We also meet the needs of travelers who want the stability and size of a traditional apartment, but do not want to sign a long-term lease," said CJ Chuman, district manager for Shamrock. "We work every day to raise the standards of corporate housing, and are honored to be recognized for our efforts."

To fully appreciate the innovative nature of Shamrock's business strategy, it is important to understand the unique nature of corporate housing itself. The industry has traditionally been comprised of third-party providers which own no real estate, lease available apartments, and attempt to "create" corporate environments; and apartment communities which occasionally offer corporate housing programs, but are primarily focused on renting to unfurnished residents for very long periods of time.

Shamrock has dramatically established a completely new tier of corporate housing by designing, building, and managing properties specifically for the needs of long-term guests. Like a hotel, employees are on-site every day to attend to the needs of guests; and like an apartment, guests enjoy full-sized units and reasonable long-term rates. Guests also have the benefits of custom-made furnishings; amenities such as swimming pools and business centers; and on-site guest service, cleaning, and maintenance crews.

The CHPA Tower of Excellence Awards will be presented at the organization's annual conference, February 7 - 9, 2006 in Newport Beach, CA. CHPA is the only global trade association dedicated to the corporate housing industry. The organization offers networking, educational and informational opportunities to corporate housing providers around the world.

Shamrock exceeded its growth expectations and enjoyed a record year in 2005. Sales were up more than 71% from 2004, and profits rose more than 185%. The company serviced more than 5,000 clients, including employees and guests of the Miami Dolphins, Restaurant Services, Inc. (the franchisee division of Burger King), Mercy Hospital, and Mitsubishi.

Today, after 14 years in business, Shamrock Corporate Housing is operating with three managed and owned complexes throughout South Florida, with a total of 281 fully furnished and equipped apartments.
